Education: Master of Arts in Teaching, Mathematics
Become a mathematics teacher and earn your master’s degree online. The online master’s degree in math education combines preparation for licensure as a middle school or high school math teacher with coursework to earn a master’s degree. You will become a highly qualified mathematics teacher prepared to take on the challenges of a high-demand field.
Who the program is for:- Individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree (preferably in a math-intensive subject such as math, engineering, or science), want to become a certified middle school or high school mathematics teacher, and earn a master’s degree.
- Unlicensed substitute teachers, career changers, retired military personnel, school paraprofessionals, and others with bachelor’s degrees who feel the call to teach.
This program requires a significant background in mathematics. Speak to a Mind Streams Education Consultant to determine whether you have the sufficient background for entry into this program. If it is determined you do not, you can enroll into a Content Preparation Program.
